  Labyrinthine Lacing increases the angular allowance of Lacing, can appear like the typical snake patterns and curved, dripping patterns typical of lacing but can also appear like geometric shapes and circuitry patterns.
  Labyrinthine Acid also increases the geometric shapes allowed in the marking, but is about as thick as the Acid marking typically is. Along with the snakes referenced in Acid's guide, you may also reference Arroyo and Mojave snakes for a more natural pattern.

KETU-NOMALIES

A hybrid of Ketucari and B-NOMALY, KETU-NOMALIES are classed as a subtype of B-NOMALY in the Chasm-Connected worlds, and as a bipedal companion in Velukaelo. Standing at around 3 feet tall (unless altered by mutations such as Giant, Dragon Body Type, or Always Anthro), these hybrids have B-NOMALY bodies and mutations, while bearing Ketucari-like faces (albeit with a second mouth covered in a beak like a B-NOMALY) and Ketucari-like hands, as well as modified B-NOMALY tails that appear closer to typical Ketucari tails.

Regardless of heritage, their Ketucari traits always appear similarly to standard Ketucari. They have access to all B-NOMALY mutations including Fogholder.

Despite their interspecies heritage, K-NOMs can breed, but only with other B-NOMALIES.

UNLIKE MOST B-NOMALY MYOS, KETU-NOMALIES DO NOT HAVE LIMITED TRAITS. Have fun and make the character you want. A list of B-NOMALY traits can be found here.

KETIXI MANTICORES

Manticores are human.

The Manticore Alchemy Ring is a group of humans fascinated by both Rixixi and extreme body modifications, now branching out into Ketixi as well. They use a combination of body modification - including surgery - and gene splicing to make themself have the appearance of Rixixi, and now Ketixi as well, albeit bipedal Ketixi.

Manticores are human, but are not classed as Companions. This is to make their abilities and stats line up with the Chasmhome side better. Your gene-spliced humans are not restricted from any Ketucari activities other than breeding, they inherited the same infertility as Ketixi.

Ketixi Manticores have almost identical rules to regular manticores. The following are changed:

• Ketixi Manticores use the base coats and markings of regular Ketixi. Their build is considered Ketixi Manticore.
• Ketixi Manticores can still have their facial hair and mask freely edited, and their head hair and facial hair changed to any color. Head hair itself may be edited, trimmed or lengthened, retextured, and so on fairly heavily, but should match the feather type's general style. When in doubt, check the feather type of other ketucari or ketixi builds, found on the linked on the Ketucari Design Guides page, and use the general shape. As a tip - not a strict rule - Frizzle would likely look best as a 2C or higher curl, Nicobar would likely look best as textured hair, and Bald would just make sense as a short hair style.
• While there is no base for this, mainly to avoid remaking the base for feather types, breasts may be freely added without a Mutation Station. Ketixi Manticores may be AFAB without top surgery.

HOW TO SUBMIT KETIXI

Due to staff not necessarily matching at this time, uploads on one side of Veluchasm will take a moment to get to the other side! If you post on Ketucari, for instance, it will take a moment for a Ketucari admin to alert the Chasmhome staff that it's time to upload! It'll just take a moment, please bear with us! Thanks!
Design updates can be posted normally for each species, just make sure you have your items ready as always! This will also take a minute to cross-update, as it runs about the same!

Many Ketixi have been uploaded as a MYO on the Rixixi side, and there is a guide to submitting MYO genos on Lorekeeper here. Older Rixixi-side genos and Ketucari-side genos are written up on the Ketucari site or deviantArt on Veluchasm news comment. For Rixixi that are still genos, the Temporary Design Approval page is right here - if this is far easier for you to work with, you may drop off a MYO in the proof link here. Otherwise, with a MYO, you can fill out the MYO submission as usual, and drop off a comment with the import form. For Ketucari, Design Approvals is here, and you don't have to worry about MYOs.

To speed things up, Ketixi no longer have to be submitted to Rixixi AND Ketucari design approvals, and the form text has been updated for that purpose. You can still submit to both if you want to be thorough, but the form should be fully updated to function on both, especially with the full move to Lorekeeper without deviantArt. There's a part of the form where you can note which Design Approval(s) you've submitted to so that we know where your critter has been!

You may use geno-editing items on your Ketixi, such as tokens, fogshard pieces, and statues. Tokens do not have a limit for Ketixi. If using a token/fogshard gene that was fused from two genes for Ketixi to make a new unique gene (eg. Sunny Ember), either the relevant fogshard or token will work. (a Sun Chrono fogshard, an Ember token). Supercharged Alchemy fogshards cannot trade the unique fused genes to a Rixixi, as they cannot be on regular Rixixi.

Mutations must be added by the designer, mutation bases will not be made for Ketixi. Mutations that exist in Rixixi and Ketucari can both pass on the same geno - double albinism is possible, for instance. Horns use Rixixi rules - they are fully customizable and can go anywhere on the head. You can use Ketucari bases for Ketixi horns if desired, but you will have to move them to make them fit.

If a Rixixi Fur Mutation passes, you will most likely have been asked what feather type you want it to be replaced by on the Veluchasm news post. If you didn't choose then for any reason, you can choose any feather type now.
