Scout's Honor
Requirements outside of Karma Seasons: Completion of Here There Be Dragons: Chapter 1. Can be played by One Track Mind (+,++) Rad Sick Ixi.)
Requirements during Karma Seasons: 10 Positive Karma. Can be played by One Track Mind (+,++) Rad Sick Ixi.)
Rewards: 350 EXP
Additional rewards during Karma Seasons: 15 Positive Karma
In addition to the above rewards, all members who complete Scout's Honor will obtain a slot to Qaeturna Un. Only one slot can be obtained this way, while the EXP and Karma rewards can be repeated.

START
You're out late at the collapsed mine in the Nether Steps one day. It's not always easy to tell night and day here, so sometimes time passes you by faster than you'd like, but eventually you remember to look up at one of the 'skylights' built into the cavern and find that the sun has already set. Sighing, you grab your pack and move to wherever you've been spending the night as of late.
As you carry your things, the sound of rocks shifting and tumbling to the floor gives you a distinct feeling of unease. You turn slowly, unsure if you would even see a pursuer in a dark cave.
Apparently you would if they glow. A beast's face slowly lights up, bioluminescent spots coming to life on a frill around their neck. The massive creature is perched on a pile of boulders in the mine that had recently been cleared out of the main path. They look almost like a Rixixi, but massive, with rippling muscles, enormous fins and horns, and wings, currently pinned to their back. They approach slowly, cautiously, hopefully without malice... seemingly like they worry that their stature might come across as intimidating.
They still look like a predator approaching their prey, they just kind of look like a predator who suddenly realized their prey is small and adorable and they're immensely curious about whether it wants to play before being eaten. You try not to assume that.
"Citizen, we could use your assistance," Their voice is booming and heavily accented, almost archaic in the way they use Sxriix'n. "In our camp, one has gone missing, possibly fled. We do not want to alarm the other citizens in this land. I am one of the best scouts of the camp, but I feel a small team may be necessary so as to keep things quiet."
Prompts
Pick 1 out of the following 2 and illustrate or write about it. Illustrations should be fully colored and fullbody with at least a somewhat detailed background. Literature should be 800+ words. An NPC will write up a reaction to which a second piece must be made. (Fullbody, color, and background OR 600+ words) Upon completion of the second piece, this chapter will be complete!
If you can't come up with a response to the prompt you're provided, you may ask for a new one - also, do know that you don't have to base your entire response around it so long as you address the prompt somehow. We'll probably appreciate creative interpretations!
You're a bit out of it from the adrenaline, so you aren't quite sure what you say, but in your awe, you must have said something along the lines of 'Are you a Rixixi' or 'What are you' or 'Why are you big', and the beast smiles.
"I am a secret until I am told otherwise," The scout bows their horns in a polite (or regretful?) gesture. "My name is Qaeturna Un. Please help us keep our secret and return the young one to camp. If you cannot, do not speak of me. You will find that we are regarded as cryptids anyways, and you will be assumed to have been dreaming."
Well, that's one way to keep a secret. If you wanted, you could help seek out another member of this creature's 'camp', or perhaps it'd be better to turn them down and move on?
