Chapter 2

Raging Rads
Requirements: Critical power level, Completion of Story Mode: RadQuest Chapter 1
Rewards: 500 EXP, Raging radiation level, corresponding elemental mutation, Intermediate and Master radiation skill trees.

"Aaaaand our next round is coming right up! We've got a special Raging Rads round here tonight, folks! In the west, we've got a crowd favorite, they're loud, they're proud, RrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiKashe! In the east, just because they're old doesn't make them weak, rumor has it that they have ten lifetimes of experiences to their name! It's old cat winter themself, Sezzeqh! Shields are up! You there in the crowd, get ready, these are two forces of nature in the arena tonight!"

The crowd goes WILD. You didn't know high-level radiation was Arena-legal, even in special cases. Apparently neither did your friend, it's all they can talk about once you leave that evening. They want you to sign up for the next round.

"I mean, I know you're not at Raging yet, but weren't you gonna try for it soon anyways?" Your friend's current counterpoint seems to be. "It's cool if you don't do it for the arena, I still think you should do it. Just - Wow! Talk about a motivator, right? C'mon, if you do it, lemme pitch in, okay? I wanna help."

You chuckle and say you'll think about it.

PROMPTS

RadQuest Chapter 2 is somewhat uncommon as far as Story Mode goes in that it only has one prompt, but it can be interpreted in many ways.

Draw your Rixixi showing off high-level radiation of its chosen element.
You are leveling up to Raging, and can go so far as to heavily manipulate the environment. Feel free to go as wild as you like!

Illustrations should be fully colored with at least a somewhat detailed background. Literature should be 800+ words.

Multiple Rixixi may partake in Story Mode in the same image, with the following restrictions:

  • 4 Ixi at maximum per image (other ixi can appear for Training Mode EXP, but cannot be submitted for the story mode chapter in that piece.)
  • All Ixi pictured must be partaking in the same chapter. Different elements can be used for the different Ixi, however.
  • Please submit separate prompts for each Ixi!
