Activation
Requirements: Completion of Story Mode: Main Quest Chapter 2
Rewards: 350 EXP, Active radiation level, element selection, beginner radiation skill trees.

The sun is shining, the ground is dry and cracked, and there's a gentle breeze passing over the badlands. It's a pleasant day in Sxriix, and you've taken to a nice, ambling pace on a walk around the general area, with nothing much to do.

You wander into a nearby village, ears twitching as you take note of a commotion nearby. It doesn't sound worrisome, more of a group of friends getting a bit rowdy as they have fun together, so you continue on your way, but your lazy day comes to a close as the group addresses you.

"Hey, buddy!" A young Ixi calls to you in a crowd. "We're goin' to this training ground to figure out our elements! Why don't you come with? You haven't picked what element feels best to you yet, right?"

Yep, your day is lazy and ambling no more. You've got something to do now. Now, your day...

PROMPTS

RadQuest Chapter 1 is somewhat uncommon as far as Story Mode goes in that it only has one prompt, but it can be interpreted in many ways.

Draw your Rixixi practicing its chosen element. This should be a beginner to medium-level elemental skill - your Rixixi is unlocking Rising at this stage, and cannot move mountains, literally or figuratively! They can be sparring with the other Ixi mentioned in the prompt, showing off, learning about methods used, or really just about anything! Have fun!

Illustrations should be fully colored with at least a somewhat detailed background. Literature should be 800+ words.

Multiple Rixixi may partake in Story Mode in the same image, with the following restrictions:

  • 4 Ixi at maximum per image (other ixi can appear for Training Mode EXP, but cannot be submitted for the story mode chapter in that piece.)
  • All Ixi pictured must be partaking in the same chapter. Different elements can be used for the different Ixi, however.
  • Please submit separate prompts for each Ixi!
