It's mostly shadows when you walk in, the ropes of flesh leaving strange silhouettes like spiderwebs in the dark room. There's little light here, nothing like the artificially-lit room at the back of the hall. Even in the dim light, you can see a massive shadow in the distance as you creep closer.
A mass of vines writhes in the far corner of the conservatory, some strange imitation of a maw gleaming in the middle of it. As the vines come closer, the bark on them gives way to mottled amalgams of meat and flesh vaguely molded into a tube, teeth and eyes springing up at random on the writhing heaps of sausage. The monstrosity grows itself from deep within the conservatory's planters, and its roots-
You knew they were flesh before, but now you see it clearly. Its roots are bodies, molding themselves to the creature in what looks like slow agony. As you watch the creature, you notice a body moving at the base of the creature's chain of roots - one of the fresher ones, free of mutations and not yet molded to the meat chain. The corpse's face glows with a ghostly blue energy, something is still in there and struggling to get free!
You barely have time to process this when the mass of vines begins to swirl, the Deathtrap moving towards you.
Prompt: Draw/write your Ixi confronting the Deathtrap. You can get creative in how you portray this, however, your reaction to the trapped bodies does influence your karma - feel free to briefly mention in a comment if you're not sure it's clear! (eg: if your Rixixi is attacking the Deathtrap itself, feel free to mention how they attacked the vines and dodged the roots for positive karma!):
Rewards During Karma Season:
30 Positive Karma if you free the bodies in the Deathtrap's roots/attack the Deathtrap while avoiding its roots

350 EXP on completion
