No, no, quite the opposite. It's exciting news. Your involvement in the Robot Uprising of several years ago caused me to want to share this with you first.

The large cerberus leads the pair into the back of the Contraband Enforcement Station, ducking back through a door behind their desk. Here lays the storage - full of evidence and contraband all locked up tightly, ready to be filed away. The Authorities head back to another door, barely visible past boxes of metal scrap that they shove haphazardly out of the way. They open the door to a walk-in closet, where in the dark, something furred slumps. It's a hunched shape, coming to about half chest height on the average Rixixi - waist height on MEME and The Authorities, however. The Authorities press a paw to the back of the shape's neck, and a glow lights up, blue eyes lit in the dark. Something bulky, quadrupedal, and mechanical, covered in a dark pelt, shuffles out into the storage room, eyes scanning Mezz and MEME with an intense curiosity.

The Guard Mechanix is now available! The crafting recipe has a different body than regular Mechanix, but the same pelt! Additionally, the Guard Mechanix base allows you to use the Guard Dog skill inherently without actually using any chips - you only need to use a chip at all if you want a different skill on creation (this will override Guard Dog).
