HUNTING

Hunting rolls should portray one to four Rixixi as well as at least one prey animal! Prey animals can be pretty much anything, with a few restrictions - they should not be other ARPG species or Closed/Open/Semi-Open species unless the species owner specifically allows the species to be depicted being hunted. They should not be creatures traditionally seen as sapient - for instance, please don't hunt humans, most Rixixi have an alliance with those, don't Most Dangerous Game them.

Prey animals are classed into types, listed in the Prey Animal Classes tab, and loot varies by type. Feel free to suggest more subcategories of prey type at any time!

If you have no Rixixi yet, you can use our starters Kashe 0001 and/or Fang 0006 for this activity! They'll be rolled as if they have basic stats (HP: 50 || Attack: 10 || Defense: 10 || Special: 10 || Speed: 10), but they each have a Tunneldrake companion, which gives a boost to this activity!

If you need an additional party member for Legendary Hunting, whether or not you have a Rixixi already, you can take Precious 0009 out on a hunt - she'll be rolled at full stats so you can test some of the benefits of high-statted Ixi with Legendary Hunting's stats! Image Requirements:

Hunting images should meet the following requirements:

• Full body (60% or more of the Ixi showing)
• Color OR Greyscale, should clearly show the Ixi's markings either way.
• Background - doesn't have to be extremely complex, but items and features of the background should be defined and clear. See Art Requirements Info for more details!
• If prey is being covered up more than average, just make sure that it's clear what kind of animal it is, as that's the main thing that needs to be checked!

 

Hunting literature should meet the following requirements:

• 600+ words at least!

• All Ixi being rolled should play a major role in the story, as should the creature being hunted - Rixixi showing up in passing cannot be rolled.

• There should be some description of the location they are in, but it does not have to be the main focus of the story. Describing it in passing a bit is fine.

 

For both types:

• Up to four Rixixi can be rolled per image - other ixi can appear for Training Mode EXP, but cannot be rolled to return items!

• Please only post 2 Hunting entries per day maximum - this refers to art pieces rather than Rixixi. In the case of activity sheets, individual panels/parts count as individual art pieces!
