The Siege of Laugk Tj'is and the Arakantis Migration

A long dry season hit Vyldes, with the only water directly between the territory of the Arakantis of Laugk Tj'is and the werewolves of northern Vyldes. The northern werewolves saw the Arakanth coming closer to their territory as a precursor to an invasion, and attempted to get the upper hand by burning Laugk Tj'is to the ground.

The Arakantis population worldwide has suffered ever since, however, due to this event, many surviving Arakanth spread farther across the world than before. Large groups of Arakanth sprung up in Kortha, with scattered smaller groups worldwide.

Post-Arakantis Migration
Pre-Phoenix Incident

Aeli is economically thriving to an extent, built on heavily by human industrial society. To the north are several O'urtnx cities, and between them and the human-heavy south is the Shrine of T'akrin, guarded by dangerous rogues. The native species of Nskanetis are shunned by the humans living in the south, leading to tension between the groups. Economically rich cities like Liuchra and Syranis are mostly unaffected by the events of the coming Phoenix Incident, being able to rebuild from any losses easily.

Vyldes is rebuilding. The Mjilikae species develops at the northern swamps, replacing the werewolves that committed the Siege. Laugk Tj'is is rebuilding from the attack on it, becoming bright and colorful. Blends of magic and technology are common, many Arakanth in this age are half-human or similar. Taranan still settle in Va'el, other sapient beings are kept away from the area for their own protection.

Kortha is having a hard time. Auli'kuris O'urtnx attacks from the north are common, and most cities are built in the south as a result. Many citizens of southern Kortha are semi-religious magic workers or Arakanth pirates. A combination of Vyldes and Kortha Arakanth cultures brings bright casinos and gambling to the shores of Kortha. Further inland, magic studies are commonplace, as well as music and the arts. Axatha Taranan allow their territory to remain open to other sapient beings.

Aulik is dangerous and closed-off to outsiders due to the Reign of Olaichtyn.

The Phoenix Incident

A new Nskanetian Guardian of History and Knowledge appeared, and looking over his tomes and prophecies, came to the conclusion that the citizens of Nskanetis were slowly destroying their own planet. Acting on this, the guardian Phoenix damaged the physical plane, taking control of the Kyaine guarding Auli'Kuris and leveling the city of Lumina. Followers of Phoenix continued the Guardian's actions, culminating in a path of destruction across most of the continents, and eventually the removal of the Demon Beast-Lords from the physical plane.

The Destruction of Auli'kuris

The removal of the Kyaine from Auli'Kuris caused a sudden shift in ley energy. The northern O'urtnx of Kortha, attempting to use this strategically for a takeover, found their mountain dissolving from under them. Soon, all that was left of the mountain was a crater, which would later be found to be full of magic-infused crystals.

Post-Phoenix Incident
Post-Aulikuris Destruction
Current Era

Aeli is recovering from the Phoenix Incident. Lumina no longer exists, Syranis has merged into a single massive city, and Rayauk is no longer as dangerous. The northern O'urtnx cities still exist, but no longer act as a refuge from the rulers of Auli'kuris, instead acting simply as settlements. This era is mostly peaceful, with mild unrest in the south due to minor human-Nskanetian conflict.

Vyldes is recovering from the Phoenix Incident. Mjilikae society becomes more community-oriented. Laugk Tj'is is thriving. Blends of magic and technology are common, many Arakanth in this age are half-human or similar. Aexent begin to appear more commonly as scientists begin creating more. AexLabs holds fights for sport and entertainment. Va'el Taranan begin to be more open. Va'el's forest is explored willingly by non-Taranan in this age.

Kortha is very confused. Fogshard Mine in the Aulikuris Crater is brand new and mysterious, but brings many opportunities for discovery and economic growth. Magic studies continue to grow, coastal gambling begins to encompass the Freeform Fighting rings. An age of experimentation and discovery begins. Axatha Taranan allow their territory to remain open to other sapient beings.

Aulik is calming down. Outsiders stay away due to inhospitable temperatures rather than due to laws forbidding them.
