It's been hundreds of years and the biggest difference is the people. Well, not the people per se - culture's still pretty much the same here after all this time. It's kind of surreal. What I mean is that it's mostly humans.
Technically I think it's almost entirely half-humans but it's very human here. And, y'know, that's fine, it's just kind of weird to come home after hundreds of years and it's not made up of only Arakantis. Surprising, I guess. There's plenty of Arakanth too, but, y'know, after the Siege, I guess a lot of us wound up somewhere else or, well, came back with human partners. I think humans were around a lot back then.
I was just kind of hoping to catch up with some people from forever ago.
It's really not a bad thing at all that the city is thriving. There's some O'urtnx too, and Enirah is talking to them about where they're from and sometimes helping us translate. I saw a couple of Mjilikae from up north. I guess Laugk Tj'is is just really varied now and that's pretty nice too. I think we would have liked that back when - it suits the colorful culture that we've had for forever.
I guess I just miss some folks but I'm gonna go see what everyone else is doing.
