The mountain didn't fall.

Onlookers described it as dissolving in onto itself. The day that Nskanetis herself took Auli'kuris back, a blue light rose up from the ground and erased the mountain from the outside in. People came out of their homes in southern Kortha and watched as the leylines stripped the earth from its roots, dancing along the curves of the rocks like an aurora.

As the light met the ground and dug back in, the brightness became too powerful to bear, and the watchers fled back into their homes while the leylines dug crop circles back to their place of origin.
