Entry directly added by Tamenthan.I walk into the dry structure alone, infinite walls towering above and around me. Tomes lay strewn about haphazardly, not a shelf to hold them. A library assembled by a madman. I should take care of that, I think, before realizing the enormity of it all - a thousand lifetimes of sorting, never to be done.
I step closer to the center of the new world I've found myself in, rings carved into the floor spiraling ever closer. Pages haphazardly jammed into the stone curves poke out every which way, here and there a tablet points out like a shard of glass. At the middle of it all, a great beam of light pours down from the ceiling, almost blinding after all this darkness. I blink in the light, and I find my wings stretching outward, testing the air.
I am Tamenthan, and I am alone. I have always been alone. I have only ever been here.
I turn absently, looking over the area, and my claw accidentally settles on a stone tablet. Pulling it closer, I find myself focusing sharply on the world within...
