You can find all the currently known genes a Rixixi can display linked below, but first, some overall rules for designing a Rixixi geno!
Some genes and items can override these basic design rules - these are the rules, unmodified, for any Rixixi design!
- Eye color is NOT LIMITED and can be any color. Pupils can be the shape of any Earth animal's.
- Teeth should be white or off-white.
- Skin, nails, frill, and so on can be any color darker or lighter than the base coat, any marking color on the Rixixi, or natural flesh-tone colors found in Earth mammals. Chow Blue is allowed!
- Markings can appear on the skin/nails/frills/etc if desired, but also must be visibly present on the body somewhere - they cannot only appear on the skin unless the marking specifically says otherwise (eg. Flourish).
- Markings should not be pure (#000000) black, no matter what base they're on. Otherwise, refer to each guide to see what each marking can do!
- The Rixixi can be moved around the canvas (especially to accommodate large mutations), but cannot be stretched, skewed, or altered in size. Individual mutations can have their size altered.
- Mutations no longer require a Mutation Station to be customized! You can freely make custom mutations if you want.

FREE MARKING GUIDES
Domestic Rixixi can use Tabby as a free marking, but it won't show in their genotype, and passes from Domestics to other subspecies at a recessive rate even if it's not visible - see Uncommon markings (the pass rate for all other subspecies) for Tabby.

COMBINATION MUTATION GUIDES
- Combination Mutations are achieved by breeding parents with certain mutations together. They have a 20% chance of passing when the needed mutations (or a combination mutation itself) are present in the breeding. Combination Mutations do not automatically pass if both mutations that make it up make it onto a Rixixi.
- If a combination mutation does not pass, it will then attempt to pass the mutations that make it up at their normal pass rate. (eg. if a Rixixi with Deep Sea does not pass Deep Sea, it has a chance to pass Vestigial Wings and Gills)
- Combination Mutations CAN be added with Swap Fogshard pieces: Charged Fogshard Piece - Swap requires swaps stay within the same rarity, and so it can swap Combination Mutations into other Combination Mutations. Supercharged Fogshard Piece - Swap can swap any mutation on an undesigned geno into a mutation found on the parents, and this includes Combination Mutations.
NON-PASSABLE GENES
Non-Passable genes are written in the mutations section, cannot be dominant, and generally encompass marking-like genes, mutation-like genes, or combinations of both. As the title suggests, they do not pass in breedings (though some, like Gemcrafted genes, can gain the ability to pass if some skills are taken), as they are obtained through gameplay, item use, and skill use.

Elemental
When Rixixi fully awaken their magic potential, the energy within them can begin to visibly mutate their bodies. These specific mutations often present in certain ways:
Gemcrafted
Produced by crafting Gemcrafted Shards with the Rock Collector that can apply certain genes. Gemcrafted genes do not pass to offspring without the Body Glitter skill. They cannot be dominant, and cannot be added with geno-editing items other than their own shards. When passable, Gemcrafted genes pass at an Uncommon rate.
