In the middle of a courtyard in Laugk Tj'is stands a statue of a birdlike creature. Festivals often gather around this central figure, and songbirds rest on it, lending color to the imposing, pale figure. Locals are familiar with the legendary creature - of course, it's an Arakanth Messenger in its most recognizeable form.
While they're an actual - albeit rare - subtype of Arakantis with just some additional shapeshifting ability rather than proper Guardians, Messengers are seen as a sign of prosperity and good things to come. They are a rare mutation in a threatened species, after all. They've occasionally been deified, even.
With all of that energy about, this isn't just a statue.
The Messenger Shrine does not count against the once/monthly limit for Nskanetian Shrines!
It's slightly more limited in what it can do and also not a Guardian. As such, it's only limited by how many sacrifices you have and want to throw at it.
